We've Got a Walker!
Emily has been dabbling in walking for a couple weeks now. The display usually requires one overly-enthusiastic parent coaxing her on while the other is ready to let go. On Christmas Eve she was willing to walk a dozen or so steps if that overly-enthusiastic parent was just out of arm's reach. On Christmas Day she surprised us all by bee-lining to Auntie Christie when we arrived at the Litz's. Okay, so Auntie Christie is a natural at being overly-enthusiastic around Emily, but she was definitely out of arm's reach. Unless Emily wants to get someplace quickly, she is now more than willing to walk there.
