Christmas with Family

It is hard to believe, but Christmas has come and gone for another year. Our Christmas holidays started a day earlier when we heard that a storm was going to be rolling in on our driving day, the 23rd. So we headed out to the farm on the 22nd, which made Grandma S. very happy.

We celebrated Christmas Eve by having our traditional meatless supper. Great Grandma & Grandpa, Grandma & Grandpa S., Uncle Martin & Auntie Dawn and Uncle Chad were all there. After supper we headed off to church, then returned to the farm to unwrap gifts. The evening wrapped up with most of us falling asleep in front of the movie, Fred Claus.

We packed up on Christmas morning and returned home where we unwrapped our gifts and Emily's stocking. After that was done we headed to Grandma & Grandpa Litz's. Grandma & Grandpa Litz, Uncle Lee & Auntie Marlene, Uncle Blair & Auntie Christie, Elijah, Uncle Michael & Auntie Angela were there. We ate brunch and then attacked more gifts. The afternoon was filled with visiting and games before supper.

We hope that you also had a wonderful Christmas!
