Greg has taken the week off, so he was able to spend Family Day with us. We went swimming at Servus Place, which has two waterslides, several kid pools and a lazy river with a very obvious current. Today, on Day 2 of Greg's week off, we went skating and sledding at Deer Ridge outdoor rink. We had the rink to ourselves. Greg and Emily got in a little hockey, while the other two girls rode in the toboggan around the ice.
Tobogganing on the ice was a lot of fun. With two that aren't great at skating (Sophie lasted for five minutes), it's a great way to keep them out on the ice and happy. Don’t know why I didn't think of it earlier... like last year.
