It was a fun weekend to be outside, given that temps were near double digits. We spent a lot of time outside with the neighbours. There's usually someone wanting to play outside, so we are hearing a knock on our door at various times during the day. Here's a look at the number of bodies that might be seen in the cul-de-sac.
Not sure why, but Kate kept pulling off her boots.
Sophie, on the other hand, was ultra-conservative, and chose to wear her winter jacket. I had to convince her that she did not need her ski pants.
And this is the most exciting development of the weekend.
Emily is now a training-wheels-free bike rider! We pulled off her training wheels a time or two last fall, but she definitely was not ready for it. Greg removed the training wheels earlier in the week, and practiced with her a few times. On Saturday, she learned how to stop without falling and how to start without help.
