Emily started Kindergarten at the end of August. She goes every day in the afternoon. Sophie and Kate ride in the chariot while Emily walks, rides or rides her bike. Here's what she chose to wear on her first day.
All summer I had been asking Emily if she wanted to stay at home with me. She always said no, and was constantly "practicing" for Kindergarten. She drew pictures, wrote words and did some math to practice. After the first few days she decided she had enough of Kindergarten. She started telling me that she wanted to stay at home and play with me instead.
After a month, Emily seems to have warmed up to Kindergarten again. She easily says goodbye and walks into the classroom without looking back.
