The birthday festivities began in the afternoon when Grandma & Grandpa Stajniak stopped in for a visit. They gave Emily a winter hat, and a sweater/jeans outfit. Uncle Clayton, Auntie Evelyn, Riley, Brodie, Grace & Fiona gave Emily a homemade orange/blue/green necklace and bracelet as well as a bunny shirt/mini skirt outfit and shiny pink shoes.
After supper we opened some more presents. She got a vacuum and scarf & mitts from Grandma and Grandpa, a dress, Mr. Potato Head and some books from Uncle Blair, Auntie Christie & Eli, a scarf, brown and pink outfit and pj's from Uncle Michael, Auntie Angela & Owen, and some Beanie Babies from Uncle Lee & Auntie Marlene.
On the morning of Emily's birthday she opened the present from Mommy & Daddy - a kitchen set. Now she is always asking us to make her eggs.
If Emily can remember the words on each page of the book, why can't Greg remember to tell you when he's not coming home?
