We were hoping to keep Emily in the crib until the new baby came along, so that we wouldn't have to take the time to dismantle then reassemble it. That was not to be. She has been going through an awful 'separation anxiety' thing since we got back from BC. She refuses to go to sleep on her own, whether it is nap time or night time. If we take her to our room she will fall asleep with us in minutes. In her crib, she will stand, scream and cry until she passes out from exhaustion.
After a particularly grueling night this past weekend, Connie pulled apart the crib and brought in the single bed mattress. End result? We lay down with her to put her down at nap and night time, then sneak of when she is asleep, which usually takes about ten minutes. So much better!
