Less attentive were Elijah and Emily. Eli is thrilled to be walking, and so he spent most of the service exercising his little legs on around the pew. Emily, well, we have to bring a picnic with us every time we go to church. Our little turkey loves to eat! If you look carefully at the family picture, you will notice remnants of her cookie smeared on my shirt and skirt! One thing that did get her attention (other than food) was the live music. She and Greg stood at the front of the church watching the band perform.
After the church portion, we headed to Michael and Angela's for a wonderful brunch. The food was amazing - waffles with whipped cream and berries, fruit and veggie trays, ham, cabbage rolls, salads, etc. It was amazing! Here are a few photos from the event:
