The Next Olympian

The family has been pasted to the TV now that the Olympics have begun. Poor Emily is kind of being neglected. Okay, maybe not neglected, but definitely ignored at certain times. Mornings are still Emily time, though.

On Friday, Emily and Connie joined Mae and Liam at Queen Elizabeth Park to go sledding on his first birthday. Mae took and shared these photos with us.

Emily and Connie were out at our hill again this morning, streaking down the slopes and slides. It seems the faster Emily goes, the better. And bumps don't seem to bother Emily either. She loves going down the big slides by herself. Connie still has to ride the saucer with her, though. Perhaps we have the next luger, bobsledder or skeleton racer on our hands?
