Connie's Big Mistake

Okay, maybe it isn't that big... So I, Connie, was in Zellers one November day with Emily when I heard this announcement over the PA system: Attention shoppers. A new shipment of Olympic red mittens has arrived.

I didn't think much of it, until ten minutes later when I heard the same announcement. Okay people, I thought, we get it. The mittens are in. Big whoop.

Turns out that it was a big whoop(s). If you haven't heard, the Olympic red mittens are all the rage. They were huge in Canada, but thanks to Oprah they are now huge everywhere. Who knew?
