Emily has changed a lot over the last eleven months. As you will be able to see in the picture, she is now towering over her animals, rather than it being the other way around. I wanted to this picture to feature her new skill, but it was not to be. She is so easily distractible that there was no way she would pose in a crawling position for me. In fact, there was no way I could get the picture without her turning and throwing around her animals! She has indeed earned her nickname, Crash. Anything that is in her way must move now!
So what else is there to report about Emily at 11 months? Here is the shortlist:
- 19 lbs. 2 oz. and 28" tall
- claps when she wants more food
- crawls
- climbs stairs (this one surprised us - she climbed them to see her cousin Eli)
- stands and plays in her crib when she doesn't want to nap
- occasionally nods her head
- eats most single foods, but and some table foods
- showing off one tooth - it appeared the day before she turned 11 months
Just to prove that she is our "Crash," here is a video to watch. Big or small, she will move it if it is in her way.
