Greg and I put together the rainbow cake on the weekend.
I decorated the finished product last night, but needed some candies to complete the cake. The girls were so excited about decorating Sophie's cake. We found some rainbow licorice (don't rush to buy them as I think they taste soapy) and nerds to complete the cake.
Sophie was thrilled with the finished product while Emily was busy pointing out the inaccuracies (Mom, Thomas is supposed to have three wheels). I tried to shush her so that she didn't ruin Sophie's enthusiasm.
Can you see the rainbow cake?
To finish the evening, Sophie wanted to do a craft. We quickly put together these toilet paper tube sheep.
