It's hard to believe, but our little girl is already four months old. The special day was on Saturday. Greg and I packed up Emily and her stuffed animals and headed out to the farm.
Emily had an action-packed weekend:
- visited with lots of people at the St. Patrick's Day tea
- watched hockey with Grandpa
- took her four-month photo showing that she is good at grabbing her toys
- met Auntie Dawn's sister, Darcy, and friend, Chris
- met Uncle Chad's friend Ashley and her little boy, Cash
- visited Uncle Martin's cows
- visited Great Grandma and Grandpa
Now that the weekend is over, Emily is wowing us with new tricks. Just today she tried to roll over for the first time. Who knows what caught her attention, but she grunted and groaned while trying to roll over her right shoulder. All this progress makes me misty-eyed...I have already been home for 1/3 of my mat leave, the equivalent of two summer holidays! It is going too fast.
