Sophie turned 10 months old a couple weeks ago. She is a bright-eyed, smiley girl. However, we have begun to question whether or not she will recognize her own name by the time she gets to school. You see, she loves to move around, but she seems to have inherited her mother's clumsy nature. She always has a bruise on her head. Ahh... downside of negligent parenting! Here are her 10 month details:
- 18
lbs., 2 oz. and 27 ½“ long
- walking
(fast) if someone held only one hand (43 wks)
- letting
go of objects or people to stand unassisted (43 wks)
- sliding
down stairs and off the couch on her tummy (43 wks)
- stopping
when she hears “no,” grinning,
then continuing with her activity (42 wks)
- flipping through books (42 wks)
- sits
down to the ground, rather than dropping, from a stand (42 wks)
- clapping
her hands (42 wks)
- second
tooth – left central incisor (42 wks – Feb. 6)
- standing
on her own when turning from one toy to another (42 wks)
- screeching
when excited or when she wants something (42 wks)
- crawling
on her knees, rather than commando style (41 wks)
- first
tooth – right central incisor (40 wks – Jan. 21)
- bouncing up and down when prompted (40 wks)
Here are Emily's 10 month details:
