Sophie at 3 months


Another month has come and gone. Big accomplishments? Sophie surprised us by rolling last week, which is a month earlier than Emily. Emily was much more stable in the bumbo chair, though. Here are all of Sophie's new accomplishments.

  • 11 lbs. 3 oz. and 61 cm (24”) long.
  • rolling from her tummy to her back (12 wks)
  • giggling (12 wks)
  • rolling from her back to her side (12 wks)
  • doing bridges in an effort to stand (11 wks)
  • holding her chest off the floor during tummy time (10 wks)
  • batting at objects with her hands (9 wks)
  • using a fist to hold in her soother (9 wks)
  • supporting her bottle with her hands (9 wks)
In case you are curious, here is the list of Emily's 3-month accomplishments/activities.

  • 10 lbs. 2 oz.
  • staying awake all evening and sleeping through the night.
  • holding her head up during tummy time.
  • jumping in her exersaucer.
  • wearing barrettes to keep her hair out of her eyes.
  • swinging at the toys on her play mat.
  • watching hockey with Daddy; it was her favourite thing to watch on TV.
  • swinging her legs and bum during diaper changes.
  • too big to bath in the kitchen sink; she started bathing in the laundry room sink.
  • having a fussy time from supper until her bedtime (11:00)
