On Tuesday Feb. 1, Emily and I headed east to see my sister on her birthday. The highway to Oakbank was empty aside from semis, probably due to the temperature of -34 degrees. We arrived late afternoon on a Tuesday, and left after lunch on Friday. We went shopping and out for lunch. It was fabulous. During our visit we also skated on the Kotzer backyard rink, went tobboganing down a drainage ditch, built snow forts, jumped in the bouncer in the basement, painted fingernails and read many I Spy books. Here is a quick glance at our stay.
