Toothless at Ten

Our little squirt is ten months old. She was able to celebrate her big day with both Mommy and Daddy at home, even though it was a work day.

What are some of her latest accomplishments? Well, between months 9 & 10 she did not gain any weight! She is 18 lbs. 1 oz. After her big gain last month Mommy was running around expecting to need a new car seat (the infant one is good until 22 lbs.). The run for a car seat has slowed to a walk.

Emily did grow 2" longer, which has forced Daddy to lower her crib, as seen in the picture.

She is still toothless, but amazes people with the solid foods that she is able to mash with her gums - peaches, bananas, chicken, watermelon, cantaloupe, etc. Emily continues to have an amazing appetite, too.

Although Emily doesn't crawl forward, she is able to walk along furniture extremely well. She can scoot herself to most places, then pull herself up. She is even clever enough to push her leapfrog table across the carpet to get to other enticing areas.

  1. I was going to start ragging on you because you didn't update the blog. Clay must have looked the post first which makes the iGoogle notification disappear. Anyways, what an adorable photo. Love the dress. She sounds like she is moving around like crazy even though she refuses to crawl. Have fun with all of that.
